The 12th International Conference on Applied Statistics

The 12th International Conference on Applied Statistics will be held at 8th June 2018 at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies. This conference series is organized by The Econometrics and Statistics Department of Bucharest University of Economic Studies in collaboration with the Romanian Society of Statistics and The Statisticians Club. The conference aims to bring together academics as well as practitioners to discuss topical issues and disseminate high quality research in economic and social statistics. Several publication opportunities in international journals are available for accepted papers. 

Call for papers

Abstract submission is OPEN. The authors are invited to submit the final document by 31st July 2018 which will be sent for publication in a current or special issue of the following journals: Journal of Economic and Social StatisticsEconomic Computation and Economic Cybernetics Studies and ResearchRomanian Statistical ReviewJournal of Applied Quantitative MethodsRomanian Journal of Regional Science.

The uploaded file must be named with first name and first author of the first author (eg “SmithJ.doc”). Conference languages are Romanian and English. No more than two papers per author or co-author are allowed to be submitted for the Conference. All submissions are subject to a double blind review process. For the conference presentation we allow any kind of formatting/presentation style. Before publication authors will be asked to format their paper according to the journal rules.
